Öresundshuset is clearly visible in this aerial viewꜜ of the harbour entrance. Öresundshuset was built in the early 1970s. It is 14 stories high, offers 8,000 square meters of office space and most tenants have an exciting view of the harbor or the railway area and the city. Every year the location becomes more and more central. The premises are preferably rented out as entire floors.
The address is Hans Michelsengatan 9 and it has its name from Hans Michelsen ↗ enW svW)who was a councilor in Malmö in the 16th century.

The block is called Flintrännan
Flintrännan is an international waterway in the Öresound. It runs between the two lighthouses Flintrännan NO and Flintrännan SV.

The Öresundshuset was built in 1972 and designed by Tage Möller Arkitektbyrå. The style and design are inspired by the Hötorgsskraporna in central Stockholm.
Ceramic board
In August 2010, a ceramic painting was inaugurated and several invited friends are eagerly awaiting "the moment" when the painting will be unveiled.
Microbrewery
It was unexpected that a microbrewery would set up shop in a parking garage. But Hyllie Brewery has done just that and sells around twenty strong beers to restaurants, bars and hotels. And via Systembolaget. The bottles have creative names like "Haze in your face", "Obstructed visibility", Meanwhile in Nowhere" och "Seaside Porter". Perhaps a result of a happy AW?
In the picture we have not added neon lights but have painted the wooden boxes a little green.:-)
