Alma - okänd

A portrait from 1907

Alma

One day a little over 100 years ago, Alma, whose last name we do not know, goes to Ateljé Hagman at Prästgatan 5 in Landskrona..

Alma probably didn't go there alone. She had some friends with her or maybe her mother.

Maybe Alma had recently graduated and it was time to take a nice graduation photo? It would be fun to know more about her. What was her life like?

Here you can see the full portrait and some pictures of some other contemporary young women. All the pictures were taken in 1907.

Atelier Hagman

Anton Hagman belongs to a family where many were photographers. Most of the pictures we know of were taken around the turn of the century and into the 20th century.

Portraits of women 1907

All photos were taken in 1907 by Anton Hagman in his studio at Prästgatan 5 in Landskrona. The photos are reproduced with permission from Landskrona museum. Go there.

Anton Hagman took a series of portraits of young women in 1907. A small selection is shown here. The museum's database usually only lists one first name. e.g. Alma or Hildur. Maybe they were students in the same class?

Please let us know if you know more..
